Really looking forward to this weekend - I get to go get my craft on with a bunch of my crafty friends! We are heading out to La Crete for an all day crop at Scrappy Apple. Five crazy crafty ladies in my truck - gonna be a hoot!

I FINALLY got a chance to go back to my Inspiration Wednesday 2015 class and finish off the last one! I started it about two months ago and then jut never got back to it!  But I did this weekend and I really love how it turned out!!

It was so fun doing this years worth of journal pages. I learned some great new techniques and had so much fun the whole way through.  And my book is so full now it won't close - well not without some ribbon I added to help!!

I even did a short video so you can see all the fabulous pages I did in the amazing class. It took me a bit over a year between when I started and this weekend when I finished, but it was so worth it.

And now I can start IW 2016 - woohoo!! If you haven't had a chance to check out her classes you really should. Donna Downey is PHENOMENAL!!!!!

I got SUPER spoiled again when I picked up my mail Friday. I got two swaps in the mail and they were both phenomenal!!

The first one I opened was an ATC swap I did with a girl I had done one with before. I really loved the last ones she gave me were awesome and this time was no different.

Then I opened my next swap - this one was an altered CD that was supposed to be done in Steampunk style. I was totally blown away when I opened the package. My partner ended up making me three and they are beyond gorgeous!!! She made me a cute little card too. I so love Steampunk and this is one of my favourite swaps I have ever received.

More happy mail! I just love going to the post office these days. Between my purchases and swaps it is like Christmas all the time.

The awesomely fabulous Wendy at W2Scrapbooking got me my order again in record time!  She is da bomb!! Make sure you check her out - W2Scrapbooking

And I even used a couple of the items last night. I had left over paint and gesso from the Donna Downey page I was working on and since I hate wasting paint I started a wood canvas and one of the mixed media boards I got from Wendy in my last order. I decided to try out the new Art Stones from Finnabair that I ordered. They create some fun texture that is for sure. Makes for an interesting start to my projects!

Can't wait to see what else I can come up with for these!

Going to the mail is so much fun - I love doing swaps and getting all the goodies from my partners around the world!

I got my swap in the 5 X 7 folio swap from my partner. It is really cute and she used Graphic 45 - which we know I love. I am going to put photos of my grandsons in it!

Then I got back into my craft room last night and finished off a gift for a friend. I hope she likes it!

And I also finished off a journal page - like I said Netflix feeds my creativity!! I started this one weeks ago but finally figured out what I wanted to do to finish it.
