I got more GREAT goodies in the mail today. My amazing crafty pal Candy Rosenberg has expanded her A Vintage Girl brand by starting a line of products and having an online store. I was one of her first International orders at A Vintage Girl Shop. I got my goodies today and as usual Candy spoiled me!! Check out all the goodness!!!!!

I plan on playing with as much of it as possible this weekend and will be sure to post pictures. Till then, stay crafty my peeps!

I got more happy mail this week - it actually came Monday but I went out after work and was then to tired to do the reveal video  I wanted to do. So didn't open the box till last night. I cannot WAIT to play with all these goodies. Check out my score from Treasured Memories!!

I am hoping to spend a bunch of time this weekend creating. I really want to start the Wanderlust classes that I signed up for. I am already more than 8 weeks behind! LOL. Till then, stay crafty my peeps!

Sunday 24 February 2019

Had so much fun this weekend at my crop. So much that I didn't want to quit creating! When I was putting my stuff away I just had to keep creating!! I made a couple tags. I basically finished off some of the tag bases that I made at Creativation in my first class with Paper Artsy. One is going to my friend Candy and the other is part of a birthday gift for my pal Paula.

I hope they like them. Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

PMS Crop

Well another PMS crop is in the books and we had another great time. I got a lot done, got in some great visiting and even had some adventures  - a power outage makes for interesting crafting!!

We had a good group of gals at this crop - one of the bigger ones we have had at the indoor golf venue I must say!

I started the weekend prepping to do some coloring! I wanted to use my new Faber Castel Polychromos Pencil Crayons. I got them a bit ago and just hadn't had a chance to use them yet. So I had to do some stamping first!

It was a good start to the weekend. Then I spent the rest of the night colouring. I got a few done before the night was over.

Then I began today by doing a layout for Leona in La Crete. She asked me if I would do a layout to help her promote the new Graphic 45 Princess line. I had told her that I would help her out that way since she took me to Creativation. I loved how the layout came out.

I was going to start more colouring after this but we had a bit of a hiccup - the power went out! About half the town had no power for over an hour. But it made for some fun conversations!!

Once the power came back on though I did get some more colouring done, as well as finishing off the Graphic 45 project that I took in the class at Creativation. I really liked getting everything done that I brought with me!

But one of my favourite parts of the night was the food! Having a pot luck insured that we had TONS!! And it was all really YUMMY!!!

I always just love these events. It is so nice to get together with all my crafty friends and have so many laughs and fun. Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

Getting ready for my crop this weekend, and I got some fun happy mail! Not sure I will be able to work on it as I don't know if I will have all I need, but I can't wait to create it!

This is all the goodies I got to create the Tempus Fugit project. It is from a site on Facebook that I follow called Mixed Up Creative. The kit itself (the materials) I got from Artful Days and the tutorial I got at Mixed Up Creative Academy. I actually got a couple tutorials and can't wait to work on them. this is what the Tempus Fugit kit is supposed to look like:

Once I get it made I will make sure I post pictures. Till then, stay crafty my peeps!!

KICK ASS HAPPY MAIL!!

So today was a GREAT day to go to the mail! I got a whole TON of swaps in the mail today. I was part of a Facebook group that did monthly swapping and I had been involved in several swaps. The girl running the group was also my partner in a couple of them. She had told me it might take her a bit to get me my swaps as she was having some work issues. I wasn't worried as I knew I would get them eventually. Well today was that day! And boy was it worth the wait. I had to take a video to show off all the goodness that I got.

I got BEYOND spoiled!! Here are some photos of what I received so you can see a better look at them all. I just LOVE them all and couldn't be happier with what I received.

The first three photos are of the Artist Trading Coins swap

This next one is from the Mini Canvas swap

I got these extras from the girl who made the Believe Cavas

Next is the Envelope Banner swap I received. Every envelope had something in it!

I think this one is my favourite - another from the Mini Canvas swap

This peacock theme canvas from the Mini Canvas swap was really cool - even with all the
glitter it was shedding all over my basement!!!

I always get asked if it is worth it for me to do swaps - do I get back things equivalent to what I make and send out. I must say I MORE than got back equal quality work. I LOVE all that I got.

Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

Tuesday 19 February 2019

I was able to get the finishing touches done on the other swap I had to complete so I could get it out in the mail today. This one was for another Facebook group that supports my crafty pal Renea and her store Reneabouquets. It was a Loaded Valentine tag and I decided to use the new Graphic 45 Love notes paper for this project. I am really happy with how it came out!

I hope she likes what I did for her! Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

Monday 18 February 2019

Since today was a holiday - and I got more work done on my big order than I had expected, I worked on a couple swaps this weekend. The first one I actually got finished was an Envelope Banner that I was supposed to send out before Christmas! Yes, I am a bit late - but my partner only just sent mine out last week so we were both good with it! LOL

The theme was originally supposed to be Shabby Chic Christmas, but I asked her if she was ok with something else and she was. I decided to use some of my beautiful Stamperia paper - I used one called Atelier. Here are some photos of the finished project.

Every envelope was filled with goodies that I hope she can use, along with one that had a letter in it from me. I also threw in some other goodies for her, including this extra tag that I made using some of the new goodies I got from Paper Art Creations and Scrap Addicts.

I am hoping my partner likes what I made her! I still have a bit to do to finish off the other swap so will post pictures of it tomorrow. Till then, stay crafty my peeps!

CREATIVATION - LAST DAY

So as you can see my week got away from me and I didn't have time to post the last stuff from my Creativation adventure. So I am going to post it now! The last day was again spent on the show floor and I really had a blast. Matt, Queenie, Leona and I really just had the most amazing time!

One of the first things I did on the last day was take one more class, this time with one of my favourite new companies, Stamperia. I just LOVE everything they make - they are gonna put a SERIOUS dent in my wallet with all their new goodies. Of course it didn't hurt that the instructor, Antonis, is pretty easy on the eyes!!

Above is my canvas at the end of class, and below is how I finished it when I got home
(thanks to inspiration from my pal KC)

I of course had to take a photo of another of Antonis's projects he had on display in the booth.
Needless to say, I LOVE his style!!

I also got to meet a whole bunch more cool crafty folks, so have lots more pics with them

Was so excited I got to meet Amber from the show Makin' It. She was SUPER nice!!

This last lady is the gal who taught the Make N' Take at the Stampers Anonymous booth - you
KNOW Leona and I just HAD to do that one!!

One of the highlights of the day though was I got to watch a Tim Holtz demo IN PERSON - so
much cooler than just watching it on YouTube!!

I also took a quick video of the Prima booth for my gal pal Cindy!

My pal Candy was participating in a cool event on this day too - a bunch of designers made little ATC's and hid them throughout the show floor. If you found them you got to keep them. I asked Candy for a hint since I wanted to make sure I got one. It pays to be friends with these amazing people - she just gave me one!! How cool is that?!?!

Got to see lots more throughout the day. I am sure I didn't hit it all, but here are some more shots from around the show floor.

Of course, then it was time to head back to the hotel and get myself ready to go home. BOO. I was actually kinda overwhelmed and exhausted, so kinda ready to head home! Wasn't sure I would get everything in my bag, but I managed!!

I made it to the airport with all my crafty crap!!

And even had time for a nice supper before my flight home!

I have to say this was one of my CRAZIEST crafty adventures to date! I would love to go again - I really hope I get the opportunity to do that. I hope you like all my posts and keep following me! Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!
