Was doing some crafting this weekend - trying to get some swaps and projects finished.

First off, I was doing a Scraplift Round Robin for Scraps of Elegance and Darkness.

This is the photo of the layout I had to lift:

And this is what I did for my project:

And then I had to do a Swag Bag swap with a couple tags or handmade items. This is what  I did for that swap:

Hope she likes it!

Happy crafting my crafty peeps!

Friday 25 September 2015

I have also been doing a bunch of art journaling! Some were classes and others were out of my own head!

These two are classes by the fab Cori-Lyn at Scrap Addicts. She graciously offered to let me take the class while I was in the city since I would miss the regularly scheduled class. I just love the colours in the fall one and I liked the swirl stamp so much from the second class I got it!

This is one I did at the Scrapbook Carnival. I used the new watercolor powders I got - as well as the glitter paper pack I won. It didn't turn out quite like I thought, but that means I just have to play with them more!

This is a page that started out as just a junk page to put my leftover products onto. When I was wondering how to finish it I ended up with the Ladybug picnic song from Sesame Street going through my head so that is how I completed it!

This was another page that started with leftover product. I then used some of the new chalk pens I got to finish it.

And this is my zombie page! The background was again leftover product from other projects. And then I used irRESISTible texture spray for the "blood" - I have several colours but borrowed some from a fab friend to get this colour! And I had to get the zombie chipboard from Treasured memories to complete the page! I really love this one!

Happy crafting my peeps!
So I FINALLY got the chance to take better photos of the rest of my other Prima classes (except Frank's - I still have to finish that one!!)

So this is the other class we did with Adrienne Ford - I love this layout. I loved learning how to do a more mixed media layout as opposed to just using paper and embellishments.

Then we had two amazing classes with Sharon Laakkonen - and again we learned some great things to do to make a layout more fun with mixed media and another altered art project. I learned how to do more things with the products I already own!

And you can't really see them in the photo, but there are little lights in the altered phone! Too fun.

This is what it looks like when the lights are working!

I had such an AMAZING experience

Thursday 24 September 2015

So far I still haven't had a chance to take better photos of all my projects from Prima Art Venture - but I did get one photographed!

This is the canvas class we did with Adrienne Ford - so amazing with all the texture and the way the Bloom Sprays just pop! I loved this!!!

And I also got some swaps done this week - hoping my partners like them.

I'm hoping to get better photos of my other Prima projects soon - not to mention finishing off my project from Frank's class!

Stay crafty my peeps!

Wednesday 16 September 2015

So I am STILL going through all the amazing goodies I got at both Prima Art Venture and the Canadian Scrapbook Carnival. I have given away two boxes of goodies to friends and still have a TON left!  I also still have to take better photos of all my projects, but in the meantime, I wanted to share some of the fun photos I took. I can't get over how much fun I had on my scrapbook adventure!!

Monday 14 September 2015

Well I just got back from the most whirlwind scrapbook adventure!

I haven't even had time to unpack or organize, so I can't even fathom how many goodies I came home with.

I will be posting more pics shortly of my great week, but I had to check in with my crafty blogging family!

This is how packed my car was on my return trip!

Thursday 3 September 2015

So things have been a bit nuts for me the last few weeks - I was involved in a big golf tournament as an organizer and then my son got married!  So I haven't had a lot of time to craft.  But I am about to have about 9 days where almost all I will be doing is crafting!!! I am attending PRIMA ART VENTURE in Edmonton this weekend and the CANADIAN SCRAPBOOK CARNIVAL in Edmonton the week after! And in between I will be visiting with my family and hanging out with a bunch of my crafty friends so I will have lots of fun crafty posts to share soon!

But I did get some crafting in over the last few days.

First I did most of a journal page with my monthly mixed media group. Still have to finish it but loving it so far!

Then, I had to finish a swap (I was a bit late getting it out and needed to get it out before I go away for over a week - it would have killed me to be THAT LATE!) I really hope my swap partner likes it!

But I am just about to head to the city for my scrap filled week-plus. I will post pics as I can/if I can. If not I will update you all on my return!

Keep being crafty me peeps!
