I can FINALLY share the news I have been dying to tell everyone for ages!!! The most fabulous Wendy at W2Scrapbooking asked me to be a guest designer for her April Mix Ur Media kit!!! I was just blown away when she asked me and I had the best time playing and creating with all the great stuff she sent me in the kit!

Please check out her totally cool blog - not to mention her fab store! I love shopping with her as she has a great selection and gets you your stuff so fast!!! Which is great for someone as impatient as me!!!

And here are some more pics of each project, along with some detail on how I worked with them all!

This is a round canvas I had kicking around and I thought it would be fun to work with. All the antique looking items from the kit worked so well with the idea I had in my head!! And I think I used up a couple of my brown/antique coloured sprays on this too!! I got the majority of my supplies from W2Scrapbooking as well for this project!!

I got the flowers I used on this kit in a prize I won at a crop I attended earlier in the year and they worked so great with this project. I don't know what they are made out of but they are really cool - they are like a foam with a wood feel to them.  I also had a little mini burlap canvas that I added wings and other accents to to give the canvas even more texture and depth.

I think the most fun I had with this project was coming up with something to do with the vintage pattern that was included with the Mix Ur Media kit! I used the tissue paper to make flowers. It was a technique I learned from being a Stampin Up rep, but the texture and weight of the pattern paper is perfect for these flowers!!!

This was my second project - I had so much fun with this one. I did a ton of collaging, spraying and inking on this, adding joint tape to give it texture! And the clock is an actual door knob I got at the local hardware store!!

I made tons of flowers with the pattern paper - just made smaller ones for this canvas. And I got some great Bo Bunny glitter paste that added more fun to the project!

Photographing this project turned out to be a bit of a challenge - cause the little circle is a mirror! Kept getting my phone showing up in the mirror!!

The Bo Bunny glitter paste really added some great texture to the canvas!

And my last project was a journal page. I have had such a great time working on my journal and finding new ways to express myself. I have gotten some great products from Wendy and they are so fun to use! I used my new Gelatos for the background for this page, as well as the cool stencil that was in the kit!  The pattern paper was also cool to add for texture.

I had so much fun working on this page - deciding what to add! The cards were great for inspiration, and I love using my Pico writer to add swirls and doodles! The Bo Bunny Glitter paste was a great accent to bring out the stencil

I created my tree using Viva Decor modeling creme - I actually used up the last of the bottle of this colour to get my tree just right! And I used the instructions of the pattern to stamp my birds onto ( I couldn't get them to stamp properly directly onto the page but this worked out better in the long run!)

The stencil from the kit was so cool - funky and great for texture. And worked well with the birdies!

I got the stamp set I used on this from a great friend and I loved how it gave me some great finishing touches to the page.

Well I hope you all liked my projects! And please go check out Wendy's blog and shop. She is just so fab!!!

I am going to do up a video on my YouTube channel later today for more close ups and such! So check it out later this weekend!!
