Happy Mail

So I got some happy mail today, and figured I would share it with you today rather than wait till tomorrow like I would normally do. Mostly because it is easier for me to post on my blog from my work computer than from home! LOL The lovely gals at Scrap Addits are always so good to me!!

I also signed up for a couple of couple of classes at the Stamperia E-Academy. I was supposed to take a class back in April with the awesome Antonis Tzanidakis, but due to Covid it was cancelled. Since we are still in the midst of this pandemic, I decided to take his online classes instead. Especially since I have all the products! These are the ones I signed up for.

I am going to see how these classes go and  then I might take a couple more of his online classes. So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!

Lovely Swap

I got a lovely swap in the mail yesterday - well two of them actually. My partner lives in the UK so we have had a few swaps together. This time it was a Halloween Pocket letter and some Thanksgiving ATCs. I love everything she did for me.

Today is my last day for work before the holidays, and my plans are to do a fair amount of crafting over the break. So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!

Last Gift Made and Wrapped!

Well I was successful in getting my last gift made and wrapped. I got this great window frame kit from the gals at Scrapendipity and I decided to make it for France, the wonderful lady that works for me and has helped me stay successful all these years I have had my store. She saw the frame when it came in and said how much she liked it, and since I hadn't come up with an idea for her gift at the time I figured this was perfect! I love how it came out too - it was super easy and I am sure France is gonna love it.

So once I had it all wrapped, that meant my Christmas stuff was ALL DONE!!

I of course today thought of one more person I have to give a card to, but luckily I still have some in my stash from this weekend. And I have other projects I want to do, as well as plans for getting some art journaling done over the holidays. So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!

TM Nordic Crop - Day 2

So yesterday was another successful crop day - and I got lots done, even with my grandkids over and me babysitting! They have headed home now, so I can post about all my projects yesterday! First up was the first challenge, which was to feature green. I started this project Friday and was inspired by some projects I saw on the Tim Holtz Addicts page on Facebook. I like how they came out!

After this was the first make n take of the day, which was a layout. Since it was a Christmas theme I decided to use one of the family Christmas PJ photos I had. Love how it came out!!

The next challenge was to use washi tape, and I ended up making a couple cards with some of the Tim Holtz fabric tape I had (they said this counted as I thought it was Washi tape when I was using it! LOL). I am on a roll when it comes to Christmas cards this year.

Up next in the schedule was another make n take - this one was a cute little mitten card that I was able to figure out all on my own!

For the third challenge of the day, the theme being use layers, I used the fun photo we always get for these virtual crops as my inspiration. I think this one is one of my favourite photos out of all the virtual crops we have done this year.

The challenge that was up after supper was to do something Nordic themed, and this one was pretty easy as they gave us so much cool Nordic stuff in our goodie bags. I decided to use my cat Toby as inspiration and the fact that he always is trying to kill anything we have in the house that has any kind of fake fur on it - especially one of the Christmas gnomes we put out for the holidays. I was able to get a great photo of him for the layout as well. Coulnd't have worked out better!!

For the last challenge of the day - which was to use straight lines - I did a layout with my adorable granddaughter Octavia who turns four on Monday. We had a little bit of a birthday party for her yesterday and I had a special unicorn cake made for her by a very talented friend. Since I have some great unicorn birthday paper this worked out perfectly!

I did do a couple other projects other than just the challenges! We got so much cool stuff this time in our goodie bags and I wanted to use it all. We got a pack of ephemera that I was originally not going to use as I couldn't think of anything to do with it. But then one of my crafty pals did a really cute tag with hers so I decided I should do something similar. This is what I came up with.

For my last project of the night I made a canvas for my son to give to his wife. He sent me this as an inspiration photo for what he had in mind.

And then this is what I came up with. I used some of the new rice paper I got with my big Steampunk order. Once I got started I just had to keep going. I hope he likes it - cause the small little letters for the dates were NOT easy to do!! LOL

Once again, it was a really fun crop and I am happy with how much I got done. I don't plan to do a lot of crafting today, but I do have one last gift to make so want to get it done today if possible. So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!!

TM Nordic Crop - Day 1

So had fun on the first night of the crop - and actually go a fair amount done. I am going to post things in the order of the challenges, rather than in the order I did them, just to make sure  I don't miss anything! The first thing up, which I actually made first, was the Gnome make n take. Chantel always comes up with the cutest ideas and I loved this one!!

Next up was the first challenge, which was something with a Christmas Theme. I decided to use some of die cuts that we got in our goodie bag and made another Christmas card. I have actually made and sent out over 30 cards this year, which is a first for me for sure!

Then I did the second challenge, which was to use Glossy Accents - since we got some in our goodie bag. I did a layout with my grandkids and added the Glossy Accents to the tree, as well as adding some glitter to them.

The last project for night one was to use more of the die cuts that we got in our goodie bag. I made a another card with one of them.

Now I am off to start all over again! So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!!

Crop Ready/Tons of Goodies

So this weekend is another virtual crop with Treasured Memories. Yesterday I got the great goodie bag items for the weekend (plus more foam tape since I use so much of it! LOL)

I also got my HUGE order from TM - I got ALL the new Sir Vagabond and Lady Vagabond line - is anyone really surprised? It is steampunk after all. I already have SO many ideas on what to do with it!!

So with another weekend of scrapbooking coming up I am sure I will have more to post next week. So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!

Christmas Tag swap

Like I said in my last post, I also finished off one of my last swaps of the year - a Christmas tag. I had the idea to see if I could have it light up, and I actually got it to work exactly how I envisioned! I love when that happens.

I hope my partner likes it! I am pacially done now with all my Christmas stuff, except for one last gift that I am going to make this weekend during the Treasured Memories crop that I am participating in. So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!

Weekend of crafting!

It wasn't even a crop weekend, but it was a weekend of crafting for me nonetheless! I wanted to try and finish up my card making so I could get them all out for my family and friends. I did pretty good - only have one gift to make but it is for my staff here in town so I have lots of time to finish it. I did pretty good with all my cards though and I love how they all came out. I had some card kits to do and was inspired by them for other cards. All it all I think I did pretty good. So far this year I made and sent out 32 cards! I forgot to take photos of some of them, but here are the ones I did get pictures of.

These are the cards from the great card kit instructions I got from the fab Nadine

And these are the cards I made inspired by this kit.

I also had another older card kit I made some cards from - they were all white on white
(though I only got a photo of one of the cards - I forgot to take a picture before I mailed them)

Then I made a couple more cards, inspired by stuff I found on Facebook in the
various groups I follow.

I also purchased these cute fold out cards fom Treasured Memories
so made them and sent them out to family and friends.

Finally, I made some gift card holders using one of the techniques I learned in the Perfect
Winter crop I did a few weeks ago. I had to adjust the sizes as the gift cards I
bought were bigger than the ones she used in her example, but they turned out ok.

I finished another swap this weekend too, but I didn't have time to take good photos, so I will post about it tomorrow. So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!

Amazing swap

I got the most AMAZING swap in the mail today!! One of the gals I met through my Facebook swap group asked if I wanted to do a private swap with her and I of course agreed. I got my tags from her today and they are PHENOMENAL!!! I was totally blown away. I almost feel like the ones I made here aren't good enough - I am gonna have to step up my game for our next swap. Check these out!!

I already have ideas for our next two tags - can't wait to swap with her again! Till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!

Winter Wonderland Tag

I was able to get some more crafting done this weekend. I finished off another swap, as well as making a couple more Christmas cards. The theme for the swap was a Winter Wonderland tag, and I had to do some moose for this one. I love how it came out!

I decided for the cards I was making to use my new Snarky Cat stamps for them. They are so cute and I love them.

I have more cards to make and send out, so I should be down in my craft room a bunch this week. So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!
