Thursday 19 December 2019

This is basically going to be my last post of 2019, since I will be headed out of town for the holidays with my hubby to visit his family. So my last crafty post of the year is to show you the goodies I got from Mixed Up Creative Academy that I won on my birthday!!

I can’t wait to play with them when I get home! I hope you all have a really wonderful holiday season and I look forward to sharing more crafty adventures with you in the new year! So till then, stay crafty my peeps!!!

Wednesday 18 December 2019

Well I have been sick as a dog all day today, but I did get my Christmas baking pretty much done yesterday, so thought I would share. Things didn't go exactly as planned (my first batch of cookie bark that I make EVERY YEAR went wonky) but it all came together in the end!

And I got my Christmas nails yesterday too!

I also got some happy mail today - my prize package from Mixed Up Creative Acadamy, but I want to do an unboxing video, so I will post about that when I am better. Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

Tuesday 17 December 2019

I totally forgot I had one more crafty project I finished on the weekend! I had one last swap to finish and I almost forgot all about it. So I figured I would start in Sunday night when my hubby went to play hockey. Turns out I finished it. I hope my partner likes it!!

Not sure if this is going to be my last post of the year or not, but I might try and post a bit more. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

Monday 16 December 2019

So I am not sure how much more crafting I am gonna get done as I am super busy trying to finish everything I need to at work, as well as getting ready to go away for the holidays. But I did make the two Christmas card kits that I got at Treasured Memories last weekend. Took me a bit to figure it out, but they worked eventually!

And we had our MonDo staff Christmas party tonight and the lovely young girl I have working for me - Dalyani - made me this fun card. Drew it herself!!

So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

Wednesday 11 December 2019

So, like I said earlier, my pal Tricia and I had bought matching outfits to wear for the Nightmare Before Christmas crop and turns out I forgot mine at home. So I wore mine today and took a picture of me in it. Then photoshopped us to look like we were together!

I kinda worked - LOL. Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

Monday 9 December 2019

Well my trip home took is going to take a bit longer than planned! I had a great visit with my family yesterday, which I am going to start with (but the trip home today was not what I had planned! )

I went for a really nice supper with my family after the crop. The food was good - though the service was not the best. Still had a great time.

The best part though is that I was able to help with the tree decorating! We had a blast.

So my normal routine after a crop is to head home on the Monday. Well the weather was not up for that plan and the drive home was not fun. I ended up staying with my pals Donna and Wendy rather than drive all the way home. But it was fun as we exchanged some Christmas gifts and had a nice visit. The train is what Donna made me and the gumball machine is what Wendy made for me!

My friends also know me really well. They saw this cute moose at the drugstore in Grimshaw and had to pick it up for me. I think it is my favourite new Christmas decoration.

So tomorrow I am hoping the roads will be better, but even if not it will at least be daytime which should make the trip no too bad. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS CROP - Day 3

Day three of a TM crop is usually just about visiting and cleaning up, but I did actually accomplish a couple things today. But as usual, we started with a quick breakfast and more goodies.

And then we got a nice surprise from one of the gals cropping with us - she made little homemade treat boxes for us and filled them with chocolates!!

I started the day making a couple of cards with some of the goodies they gave us. I think I am going to use the cards for my nieces and their Christmas gifts!

It wouldn't be a TM crop without Laurie's famous quiches - I think they are one of my favourite things about cropping there!!

And then there was the last make n take - always a simple but fun one to do.

We had to take some more photos too - and I was suppose to be wearing the same outfit as Tricia, but I forgot mine at home. So I am going to take a photo when I get home and do some cropping to make it look like we wore them together!! LOL

Then it was time to pack up - well almost. I did get one last two page layout started. I will have to finish it when I get home as what I want to add to it would take too long to dry to finish it today.

So not I am going to take the rest of the day to visit with my family. I will post about that later as I want to spend as much time with them as I can. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS CROP - Day 2

As with all TM crops, day two was just as much fun as day one. We started the day with a yummy breakfast and more goodies - they always spoil us that is for sure!!

And Paula brought us some gifts too!

Another staple of the TM crops is the challenges and make n takes, which I always participate in! This is the first make n take - which I added photos to so actually finished it!

And this is the first challenge - I didn't win, but I was only one vote away.

This was the second make n take - easy and super fun!

Of course it wouldn't be a TM crop if I didn't make matching shirts
for my crafty peeps and myself.

This is my project for the second challenge - I love how it came out. And everyone thought the idea of doing it on an actual record was really cool.

In fact, I liked the record idea so much I did another project on one!!

And got another layout finished as well.

The themed desserts were continued on today too - and man were they ever YUMMY!!!!

The other project I worked on over the weekend was a small album for the rest of my Creativation photos. I knew I wouldn't get much more than the cover done, which is what happened. But I am thrilled with how it is coming along so far.

I also had time to do one more quick two page layout. I brought a lot of my steampunk stuff with me and had these black and white photos from Halloween 2011 that I wanted to do something with. I was inspired to do the monochromatic theme with them and couldn't be happier with how they came out!

All in all, another fabulous day! So till tomorrow and more fun, stay crafty my peeps!
