I applied for another design team! Gotta keep my fingers crossed, but would really love to be on the team! I love Scrap Shotz and all they do. These are the projects that I used for my submission.

Wish me luck - and stay crafty my peeps!
So EXCITED!! Now that the rush of the holidays is over, I can start thinking/planning for my first crafty adventure of the new year! So looking forward to Creativation and all the wonderful crafty people I am going to meet!!

Friday 28 December 2018

Yesterday was a very fun filled day! Didn't have time to post anything it was so long and fun (and a bit exhausting! lol) Spent the morning getting some last minute visiting in with our grandchildren. Had to get in some final snuggles and giggles!

Then we headed back to Edmonton to have Christmas with my family. We had an amazing ham supper and then opened more gifts. My nieces got a kick out of the gift I gave them - though they did think I was kinda evil giving them $50.00 in nickels. I guess they need to be careful what they ask for from now on.

My parents liked their gifts

As did Doug - I love giving him toys!

My nieces in the hoodies I got them.

As did Kari with the one I made her

Had to get a pic with Shaun

We had to get some group photos as well.

Then, it was off to the hockey game (I got tickets for Doug and my Mom for Christmas and my sister bought a ticket for Shaun for Christmas).  It would have been more fun if they had won, but we had a really good time none the less. I forgot how much I enjoy live games.

Today was a pretty lazy day, which was nice after all the running around the day before. We had lunch with another friend, and then had a date night.  Nice way to end the holidays.

I am not sure how much more I might post this month. We head home tomorrow, at least as far as Peace River to hang out with more friends. And then some lazy days at home before the year ends. I have to say I had a really great holiday and now have a TON of photos to scrapbook. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

Wednesday 26 December 2018

The rest of Boxing Day was so much fun! We started the day by watching Jefferey and Octavia while our son and daughter-in-law did some shopping. A nice lazy way to start the day.

Then we got to spend most of the rest of the day with our other grand children. It was so much fun getting to spend time with them - they were so excited to see us they LITERALLY launched themselves at us when they saw us! We had a great breakfast - man can those boys eat! - and then spent the afternoon at their place playing with the Nerf guns we got them.

I can't believe how much this kid can eat!!

And of course they have to be goofy!

They loved the guns - and even named them! Lucas called his DEADLY LUCAS
and Jacob called his DEADLY LONGARD (or DL for short!)

Sara loved her horse we got her - it is from her favourite show.

And she had to show us her favourite gift - a quad her parents got her. She LOVES it!!

And of course, their had to be a gun battle!!

Which even Sara got into!

It was an EPIC battle, as you can see here!

Of course, we wanted to get a couple nice pictures with the kids -
even though they would prefer to just make faces in all of them
we did get some good ones.

I did manage to snag some photos of them in the jerseys I made them - all a bit big, but hey
they will grow into them and will eventually be MonDo Moose players!!

I even managed to get a pic of the little ones in their jerseys

Again, another FANTASTIC day with family. I am truly blessed!
Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!
Happy Boxing day! We had a fabulous Xmas day, but I of course didn't want to post anything as we were having too much fun with the kids! They are an absolute hoot!

This was how the day started!

And this was how it ended - oh to have that much energy all day!!

It was so much fun just hanging out with family all day. The kids are just so darn cute!
Here are some of the shots from the day.

Started the day with snuggles

Moved on to playing with their new toys

Grampy made them pudding

Which they wore more than they ate!

And they had to help him make Xmas dinner

Tavie didn't quite understand the concept of how to wear a crown

And the day ended with a lot of LEGO being made.

We had a really fun Xmas day, and later today we will be hanging out with our other grand kids, so will post more on that later today. Till then, stay crafty my peeps!
