I was supposed to have an appointment yesterday but when it got cancelled, I decided to spend another day in my craft room!

I am in a paper bag mini album swap so decided to work on that  - and I finished it! Didn't hurt that I also wanted to binge watch Sons of Anarchy! Kill two birds with one stone!!

Here are some pics of the finished project:

And since there is so much to the album I decided to do a video to show it all off!

Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

Got spoiled today with happy mail! Got my swap from my pal Lotte - who is from Denmark! I got two altered soup cans from her - plus a bunch of fun extras.

I just love getting stuff from all over the world!

Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

I have been having a contest to try and get more followers and I said I would draw when I got to 50. Well I got to 55 today so I did the draw after work.

I started by putting in everyone's names - just a note, I didn't put in the names of my family members as I can give them shirts anytime and thought I would make it fairer if I left them out!

And I wanted everyone to know that I did it totally unbiased, so I made a video. Drum roll please ......

The winner is Linda Simpson! I have contacted her on Facebook and she will see it since she is a follower!

Thanks all for following me and I am going to keep having contests as I go. I think for the next one I will do a draw for a custom mixed media canvas. I will do that draw when I get to 100 followers.

Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

Well I used the cool and rainy long weekend so far to get caught up on some of my projects.

I ended up finishing off the project I did at a class at Scrap Addicts while in the city. I always wanted to go to the Graphic 45 classes and was finally able to as it fell during my visit. It was a great class and I love the final project.

Then I finished off the two swaps I had to finish for my fabulous partner Deb.  We were partnered in both the Artist Trading Block swap and the Steampunk Card swap. I already saw what she made for me so I had a lot to live up to. I posted them on Facebook and she said she loved them so I guess I did ok!

So this is the Artist Trading Block

And this is the Steampunk Card - I made an envelope to go with it too.

And as most people who have swapped with me know, I like going above and beyond for my partners, so I made her a couple extra goodies. I had these little wooden containers, so made her a Steampunk style one and one that is maybe Shabby Chic in style. I hope she likes them.

I have another project on the go and since I still have one day of holidays I should have more to post later this week.

Till then, stay crafty my peeps!

I finally got a chance to spend some quality time in my craft room - and actually crafted as opposed to just putting stuff away and organizing!!

First off, I did more work on the Artist Trading Block for my fabulous partner Deb! I decided to go with a mixed media theme and use paint and such instead of paper. I hope she likes it!

It needs bling and flowers and such now, but I am really happy with it so far!

Then, I wanted to basically finish off what I had to work on at my crop in the city. I had one more picture that I had printed off and the paper I received in my goodie bag from Treasured Memories, so did a layout using them. And the funniest part - when going to put my top layer of paper onto the bottom layer, it stuck down in the wrong place. But in having to improvise to fix this mistake, I ended up with a cool look that I hadn't anticipated (the plaid strip down the left hand side had to be added to fix the booboo!) So I got to use a great picture of my sister and I and am very happy with the end result!

I find it funny too that so many people were surprised I did a layout. I guess I don't do them as often as I do other stuff - I had several comments like "oh, I didn't know you did scrapbooking!" LOL

Now that I am back in the swing of things - and because it is a snowy/cold May long weekend, I plan on spending as much time as I can in my craft room!!

Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

So I figured that I should post some of my own work, rather than just post the swaps that I am getting I should post some of my own work too!

These are all layouts that I worked on at the crop I was at in the city a couple weeks ago. I added things to finish them off so I thought I would post them all together.

And I got back into my craft room. This is the start of the Artist Trading Block I am making for my pal Deb.

Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!
I haven't had time to get to my craft room much since I got back - actually having to do that work thing! But I do have to post, because I am getting the most AMAZING swap gifts from one of my partners. She posted pictures so I just HAVE to share here on my blog. I cannot WAIT to get them as they look so cool.

Sometimes I cannot believe how lucky I have been to meet and get to know some great crafty ladies from all over the world. I was really lucky this month to get paired in two separate swaps with the same amazingly talented lady Deb and I cannot believe how phenomenal the projects she did for me are!!

The first is a Steampunk Style card  - and since you should all know by now how much I LOVE Steampunk you will know how excited I am to get this!!

As I said, we were partnered in two swaps, the second being an Artist Trading Block. This is the stunning block she made me.

I have to get cracking now and finish up her card and block. I am now glad for two reasons that it is cold and yucky this weekend. One we need the cool, rainy weather to help with the fires and two - I can get crafting!!

Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!
