Christmas holidays have begun! I was able to leave work early today, but not after a very fun visit with my sister and her boyfriend!

And then after we left, we went as far as Grimshaw and hung out with my crafty pals  Donna and Susie. We exchanged gifts that we made for each other and as usual, Donna went all out with the yummy goodies.

This is the ornament Wendy made for me

This is the ornament that Donna made for me.

And this is the amazing Christmas Shadow Box I got from Susie.

A great way to start the holidays. Till my next post, stay crafty my peeps.

My hubby and I decided to open our gifts to each other today since we head out for our holidays tomorrow. As usual, we spoiled each other! And we know each other pretty well I must say. I mostly took pictures of my gifts (since I got him a LOT of LEGO, lol), but it was a nice way to begin the Christmas season.

Got my hubby the talking Chewbacca mask - which he is going to lend me for my
Star Wars Crop at Treasured Memories in May!

And I got the usual jammies and socks

And Doug got me the Hatchimal I asked for!

And my hubby got me this moose - even though I already had one!
We both forgot we already bought it!! LOL

And moose PJ's

And this adorable skiing moose too.

And he got me this stinking cute talking baby Dino - I said we should get it for the grand kids but he didn't agree. So I said he should get it for me - and he did! LOL

He got me this shirt too - and the funky part?
The design is made up of the entire text of Hamlet by Shakespeare! How cool is that?!?!

He also got me this fun top that can either be pajamas or a regular shirt

And this is the AMAZING painting our friend Michelle did for us. She is phenomenal!!

And I got these super fun tights from my crafty pal ShawnaLee - I was certainly spoiled!!

We also got ready to pack the car for our trip. We had a LOT of gifts to bring that is for sure. Luckily by sister came up to High Level for visit and is bringing some of them for us so we don't have to bring our truck (we discovered it would NOT all fit in our car!!)

So we are all ready to hit the road tomorrow. Looking forward to the holiday.
Till my next post, stay crafty my peeps!!

So December is FLYING by! But I did get all my Christmas gifts done that I was making for friends. I did also get to use my new photo box to take the pictures too. I have some kinks to work out but pretty happy that I can improve my pictures! Here is what I made for everyone:

This is the canvas I made for Michelle

And this is the album I made for Donna - the cover and a shot of it opened up.

And this is the canvas I made for Dalyani

And this is the canvas I made for Paula - a couple of pictures
along with a shot of the finished canvas

And this is the frame I made for France - a close up and the whole thing.

I made this tag for Jeannine

And these are the Treasure Chests I made for Madison and Taryn - which
I then filled with 1000 nickels in each one!
I am really glad I don't have to mail these - they weigh a TON!!!

I also made this Halloween themed album for Tricia

All in all I did pretty good I think. Here's hoping they all like their gifts! I am really looking forward to spending the holidays with my family. I don't know if I will be posting many more crafting things. But I will have pictures to post of my holidays so stay tuned! Till then, stay crafty my peeps!

Saturday, 8 December 2018

So, December has been INSANELY busy for me. Work has been nuts and I haven't had a lot of time to craft. Though I am getting my Xmas gifts done. I have a few more to do, and then I will post pictures. But in the meantime, I want to share a project that my amazing pal Tricia started at the crop we went to. She asked me for some help so I was really happy that she was so pleased with how it came out.

I hope to post my projects I made for Xmas soon, so in the meantime, stay crafty my peeps!

Monday, 26 November 2018

Got the latest addition of Creative Scrapbooker, and I was in it. Not with a project this time but as part of one of the photos for the Carnival. It was kinda cool, cause Jackie took a group photo with me and a bunch of the ladies holding the bags I donated.

It was a great time and it was fun to see the photo in the magazine. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

Sunday, 25 November 2018

My hubby knows me so well. He got me the BEST birthday gift! He got me a photo box so that I can take better pictures of my projects. I cannot WAIT to start using it! This is pretty much what it looks like.

I will try and start using it as soon as I can, since I will have a whole bunch of projects to do for Xmas and will want to take photos of them. So till next time stay crafty my peeps!

PAINT NIGHT

I was originally going to miss out on the last paint night of the year at Traditions but it turned out they had to change the date so I was able to make it after all. As usual, we had a blast - and I actually liked how my painting turned out from start to finish. Now I have a Christmas painting to hang up every year.

I have a bunch of Christmas gifts to make so I will have lots to post coming up. Till next time, stay crafty my peeps.
