SO Much Happy Mail!!

Well today was a GREAT mail day - I got SO many goodies. That new Tim Holtz index is kinda gonna be hard on my wallet! LOL

And the goodies from Urban Scrapbook came with a cute little freebie make n take. I did it up and I am going to send it out with one of my next swap projects.

Not sure when I am going to get back down to my craft room to play with all these goodies, but hopefully I will soon. Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

Library Crop - Day Two

I got a LOT done day two of the crop - even with all the visiting and chatting! I was working on my wedding album - 21 years later but I will get it done eventually. I used the wedding paper I won at a TM crop, as well as some of the stuff from my new Tres Jolie kit. I feel very accomplished that I got so much finished!

And I even won a prize - woohoo!! Yay for me!!

And I forgot to show off the new Stamp I got from my pal ShawnaLee.

It was a really great weekend and so fun to actually get to craft in person with all my peeps. I can't wait to do it again in September. I am also hoping to keep up my crafty roll and stay being creative. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

Crafing IN PERSON!!

SO EXCITED!!! We FINALLY get to craft in person. Having our first library crop in well over a year. Only a small group, but so nice to get to visit and chat with my peeps while creating!!

I didn't get a lot of creating done, but I did get to open some more goodies that came in - as well as some great visits with my crafty peeps. I got kits from a new group I joined and I can't wait to play with them.

I also got in some new papers from Treasured Memories when they sent up the sweet kits they gave us all as a donation to the crop. Totally spoiled us!!

I did end up getting one project done! I did another project from the Tiki crop I didn't attend! I used one of my fav family photos for the layout make n take from that crop. 

It was a great first day of cropping and I can't wait to do more tomorrow! So till next time, stay crafty my peeps.

More Happy Mail

I got some more happy mail yesterday - I love being in all these crafty groups as I get some pretty sweet stuff! I actually got stuff from two different partners this time. First up was a couple of swaps from on  gal. She got a bit behind but they were definately worth the wait!!

Then I got my swaps from my pal Sheryl - we have been doing private swaps for awhile, and this time we did a flip flop theme and a camping theme. I absolutely LOVE that she did an octopus and put flip flops on each tenticle!!

I am so looking forward to the crop this weekend. Will finally get to play with more of my new goodies. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

Happy Mail and Getting Packed

So I am getting some fun happy mail - this time I got one of the swaps I was in. A Graphic 45 card from one of gals I swap with regularly. It is gorgeous!

I am really excited though because this weekend we FINALLY get to have an in-person crop! It has been SO LONG! And it is pretty obvious how excited I am as I am already packed!!!

Still Crafty

My crafty roll continued! I was able to get the last of the directions and finished the "quilt" style layout. It came out even better than I thought it would.

But unlike my pal ShawnaLee, I didn't do a duplicate page with the scraps. I came up with something

completely different. I think it looks super fun. And my niece Bee agreed!!

I also got some more happy mail. And I opened my latest stamp from Brutus Monroe as well. So stinking cute!!

Yesterday was also the day that the new Tim Holtz INDEX launched. It is a great new way to keep track of all my crafty goodies by him. Of course it might also be bad for may wallet cause now I have so much more I want to buy!!

Now that I am on a crafty roll, hopefully I can keep it going. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

Staying in the Crafty Groove!

As I said yesterday, I was in the crafty mood so I decided to spend another day being creative. The first thing I did was FINALLY get to the art journaling class from back in June. I was just so swamped that I couldn't get to it till now. It gave me the perfect excuse to break in my newest art journal.

It is the new Dylusions journal, that has all types of pages - black, kraft and plain all in one book! And I love the cover design.

I really love this journal page. It was fun to get to use some of my newest Distress Sprays, both the oxides and the regular sprays. Cori-Lyn did hers as a coffe page, but since I don't drink coffee, I made mine a Coke Zero page instead. The sprays are so awesome!! Doing the background was fun.

Once I finished the journal page, I did a little playing with some of the other goodies I got. I got some fun new pastes from Brutus Monroe and I decided to do some swatches with them with my new stencils.

Then I decided to work on the die cuts and such that I got from the Treasured Memories Tiki crop. It was an in-person crop - I couldn't attend, but I HAD to get the goodie bag! So fun working with all of them - and of course I now have to figure out what to do with them all!!

The last project I worked on this weekend was the last demo that Chantel showed us on the weekend. I only got so far because I could not find the video to confirm the last of the measurments. I will have to get it done once I track it down.

Hopefully tonight I can get the last of the directions and can finish the page. I am on a crafty roll now! So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!!
