NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS CROP - Day 2

As with all TM crops, day two was just as much fun as day one. We started the day with a yummy breakfast and more goodies - they always spoil us that is for sure!!

And Paula brought us some gifts too!

Another staple of the TM crops is the challenges and make n takes, which I always participate in! This is the first make n take - which I added photos to so actually finished it!

And this is the first challenge - I didn't win, but I was only one vote away.

This was the second make n take - easy and super fun!

Of course it wouldn't be a TM crop if I didn't make matching shirts
for my crafty peeps and myself.

This is my project for the second challenge - I love how it came out. And everyone thought the idea of doing it on an actual record was really cool.

In fact, I liked the record idea so much I did another project on one!!

And got another layout finished as well.

The themed desserts were continued on today too - and man were they ever YUMMY!!!!

The other project I worked on over the weekend was a small album for the rest of my Creativation photos. I knew I wouldn't get much more than the cover done, which is what happened. But I am thrilled with how it is coming along so far.

I also had time to do one more quick two page layout. I brought a lot of my steampunk stuff with me and had these black and white photos from Halloween 2011 that I wanted to do something with. I was inspired to do the monochromatic theme with them and couldn't be happier with how they came out!

All in all, another fabulous day! So till tomorrow and more fun, stay crafty my peeps!

NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS CROP - Day 1

As usual, once I got to the city I had a blast at my crop! We got spoiled right off the bat with some fun goodies!

And I started the night by doing some shopping - I had birthday money from my Mom so got myself the travel size of the Tim Holtz glass matt!!

Had to take some photos with my gal pal Tricia - and wearing the fun head bands she picked up for us when visiting her folks in Tennessee!

The theme of the crop being The Night Before Christmas, the gang at Treasured Memories went ALL OUT for the desserts. Not only were they yummy they looked AMAZING!!! Very photogenic. LOL

It isn't a TM crop without a photo booth and my pals Tricia, Paula and I went a bit nuts with our costumes this year - especially Paula!! Her's was so popular that EVERYONE wanted her in the photos!! Her Mayor costume was just phenomenal!!

And deservedly, she won first place for her costume!!!

With all the shenanigans you wouldn't think I would have gotten anything done, but I did! I decided to do a layout with my Tim Holtz autograph and photos from Creativation and I was able to finish it. I also made a small tag to add to the layout to kinda bring out the picture of the tag we made back in his class in January. I am really happy with the end result!

It was a fantastic day, but I am super exhausted, so gotta say goodnight! Till tomorrow and more shenanigans, stay crafty my peeps!!

Thursday, 5 December 2019

I am all ready to go for my scrapbook crop in the city - and I got one last project finished before I was done! And good timing too as it is a gift for a friend I am seeing tonight!!!

My crafty friends Wendy and Donna were so good to me during the evacuation this summer that I wanted to thank them by making them something. I got Donna's gift done back in August at the Margaritaville crop, and was able to finish Wendy's this week. I hope she likes it!

I also did a bit more work on the Christmas tags I am maknig for the swap I am in. I can't finish them until after I hit the city as I need some stuff from the craft store to finish them. Believe it or not I don't have what I need in my stash!! LOL

I am pretty happy with how they are coming along! And I was able to finish packing too, so I am all ready to hit the road later this afternoon.

So look out Edmonton, here I come. Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

HAPPY DECEMBER!!!!!

So I was able to get some crafting done this weekend - working on a swap project. I was also figuring out what to take with me to my upcoming crop this weekend in Edmonton. The theme is The Nightmare Before Christmas - I cannot wait.

But this weekend I worked on some Christmas tags for a swap. We have to do 4 tags for the swap and since I have a ton of the Tim Holtz Etcetera tags I decided to make my partner 4 different sizes of tags. Part of the theme is that we are supposed to emboss (dry or embossing powder), die cutting, stamping or a combination of all three. I got a couple completely done and a couple more started. I hope my partner likes them. Here are some pictures of the ones I got done.

I have another projcet I am hoping to get finished for my pal Wendy before I head down for my crop so will try and post pictures of that before I go. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps.
