So I am still waiting for my Canvas Corp goodies to arrive, so I ended up ordering more Canvas Corp and 7 Gypsies stuff from my pal Wendy at W2 Scrapbooking. I CANNOT wait to play with it all!

As you can see I just LOVE the Architextures stuff - it is such fun ephemera and adds so much to the projects. I am planning to put it into so many things - art journaling, ATC's, cards and what ever else I can figure out!!

Here are some pictures of all the goodies I got!

Make sure you check out the Canvas Corp Brand shop and get some of their fabulous goodies!! Hoping my other goodies come soon! Till next time, stay crafty my peeps.

Happy February Everyone!

Hope everyone had a fun start to the month like I did! I was asked to do a Stampin Up party for a friend and come up with some fun ideas to show them some products and give them ideas for cards and tags. We had a great time and not only did everyone order from me they all went home with a few projects! We made a few cards and some tags. It was a great day. Check out what we made!

We started off with a fun card that used some of the thinlits dies to get the look we wanted.

Then we made some cards and tags using washi tape. This is also a fun way to use up some of you left over paper if you wanted a slightly different look!

And one of the girls wants a party next month so I have some fun ideas for that one too! I am hoping to be more creative this month as I am expecting my Canvas Corp goodies any day now. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

CRAFTY DAY IN LA CRETE AT SCRAPPY APPLE

So yesterday turned out to be a very crafty day! My crafty buddies ShawnaLee, Lisa and Beth and I all went out to Scrappy Apple in La Crete and spent the day scrapbooking. It was a fabulous day. We all won some prizes - though Lisa's lucky streak is continuing as she won the big prize of the day! And I got a LOT done. I couldn't believe it. I finished 8 layouts! I was certainly on a roll! Check them out:

And then when I got home and was putting away everything I realized that I had a layout that I did as a make-n-take at my October crop that still needed a picture. And since I had one pic of Octavia with Santa and a pic with Jeffery with Santa I decided to finish that layout with one picture and then quickly did a layout for the other picture. Talk about a productive day!!!

This is the layout that was from the make-n-take

And this is the layout I threw together!

All in all a VERY crafty weekend - and it finally feels like I am getting my mojo back! Can't wait to get my stuff from CCB - which has FINALLY shipped! Will post a video of opening it when it arrives. Till then, stay crafty my peeps!!

I did get a bit more done this weekend too. I finished off another set of ATC's for a different swap I signed up for. This set is going off to the UK! Hoping my partner likes them!

I am really hoping to get down to my craft room more. Life has been pretty crazy but I am trying. And looking forward to going to La Crete to scrapbook with my pals on the weekend. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

So this weekend turned into a really crafty one for me, as I got some more projects done! I made some more ATC's for the Facebook ATC swap group I am in (Mixed Media ATC Junkies). I am pretty stoked on how they turned out, and as soon as I posted them I had some people wanting to swap with me! The one with the winged key is off to France!

I also finished a tag that I has started a while ago - when trying to use up some paint/media from another project. I ended up entering it in a contest on Facebook - here's hoping it wins me something! LOL

I am hoping I can keep up the creative energy, though as you can see I have not been as crafty so far this year as I have in the past. I have some crops coming up so I hope that changes! Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

MY FIRST CCB CREW PROJECT

So I am still waiting for my order from Canvas Corp Brands so I can start designing for them, but I as I posted earlier when I ordered stuff using my birthday money, I did make sure to get some more Canvas Corp stuff for my stash so I decided to put together a project with what I had. My pal Gena and I decided to do our own Christmas swap so this is what I made for her using what I had in my stash!

I am pretty happy with how it came out. I used a 7 Gypsies frame as well as 7 Gypsies paper, and then some various flowers and embellishments.  Make sure you check out their store so you can get some of their great goodies!!!!!

And this is the canvas that I got from Gena for this swap

I can hardly WAIT to get my goodies from CCB so that I can start doing design team projects for them. I have SOOOO many ideas!! Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

Hope everyone is having a great 2018 so far. As you can tell, I have NOT been doing very much crafting so far this year! First I have been really sick - the cold I caught at Christmas just will NOT go away!! I have had a hard time finding my mojo so far. I am still waiting for my first order from Canvas Corp Brand to arrive so I can start creating as part of their Design Team Creative Crew. But I did get a swap done. I was in a Steampunk Altered Altoid Tin swap. I couldn't find any Altoid tins here in town (I do live in a very small town!). I found some small chapsick containers but I didn't want to make her just one, so I made three! Here are some photos of them.

I am hoping to do more crafting this month, but we will see how it goes! Really hoping I can kick this cold! Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!
