I went to my first paint night this weekend and really enjoyed it! I have to say, I was almost surprised by how much fun I had.  Of course my painting didn't look near as cool as the instructors, but I really like how it came out.

This was how we started - all blank and ready to go!

And this is Mary - our FANTASTIC teacher!

This is step one - blending the first layer of colours

Then we had to add the grass

And this is the final painting.

And I just couldn't bring myself to throw out all this leftover paint - so I brought it home!

And of course, had to get a picture of the whole class. I just love how everyone's paintings came out different even though we were all taught the same techniques.

I really enjoyed my first paint night - and I cannot wait to do next month's class. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!
