ALICE ATC SWAP

My scrappy friend and fellow Canvas Corp Brands Creative Crew member Sarah Routledge and I decided to do our own private swap this month. I got my set from her today, but not only did I lose the pictures of the extra goodies she sent me, I forgot to take photos of the ones I made for her! I made them at my crop in Edmonton last month, and promptly mailed them without taking pictures.! She has said she will get me photos but her brain is A LOT like mine and she keeps forgetting!

But check out the cool ones I got from her!! She used playing cards as the base for the cards - I would never have thought of that. A way cool idea.

As I said, she also sent me a bunch of extra goodies, but I can't find the photo I took of it all and since I was so clever and put it all away right after I took the picture I can't remember what it all was or where I put it! LOL

I am hoping to post pictures of the ones I made for her when she gets a chance to send me photos. But I really love what she made for me. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

SNEAK PEAK

So I finished my first design team project for Canvas Corp Brands Creative Crew and even though I cannot show you the whole thing or tell you how I did it yet, I had to show you a sneak peak!

I will be submitting it this week so as soon as it goes up on the CCB blog I will share the entire process with you. I made this for a pal for a birthday gift so hope she likes it! Till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

Another fun mail day it was today! I got even MORE goodies from my pal Wendy at W2Scrapbooking - these closing out sales she is having are gonna kill me that is for sure.

But I cannot get enough of shopping with her - and have to get in as much of it as I can before she closes for good. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

By now, I am sure a lot of you realize that I do almost as much SHOPPING for craft supplies as I do actual crafting! LOL

I got a couple more boxes of goodies in the mail this week, though it took me a bit to have time to open the boxes and video the goodies I got. The first is from my pal Wendy at W2Scrapbooking. I am gonna be so SAD when she closes for good. Of course, might be better in the long run for my wallet. LOL

And the even better box?! My second order from Canvas Crop Brands so that I can make even more fun stuff as part of the Creative Crew. I decided I just needed to get ALL of the Tattered Angels Color Wash paints. And I cannot WAIT to play with them all!!!!

I even have a project started that I want to use them on, as you can see in the video. So stay tuned to see all the fun creations I make with this great stuff! Till next time stay crafty my peeps!

ATC Extravaganza!

So a while back I joined a Facebook group started by my crafty pal Candy Rosenberg called Mixed Media ATC Junkies. I really like the group and it has been fun swapping with people around the world. I have gotten some really fun ATC's out of the group as well.

This month Candy had a specific event in the group - Steampunk Tendencies ATC Swap. Since we KNOW Steampunk is my jam, I of course had to participate in this swap. And as normal I made a set of three ATC's so I ended up with three partners. And one is Candy so those ATC's are gonna ROCK!! I can't wait to see what I get, but these are what I made for the swap.

My partners are in Washington and Texas, so that is fun. And Candy said she was going to make me some custom ATC's so I am going to do the same for her! I will post those when I get them done. And I can't wait to see what my partners make for me! So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!

Treasured Memories Emoji Crop - Day 3

So day 3 was as fun as both the other days, as it always is. I forgot to mention in yesterday's post that I also won one of the door prizes! I tried for it on Friday night but was not successful. Saturday was obviously a better day luck wise for me! It has paper with moose on it! Totally me!!!

The day also started very early as I had told my crafty pal Tricia I would come out with her to watch her dance rehearsal. I obviously love this girl to do that! LOL. Of course, it was also a chance to see the costumes I helped them with. It was a lot of fun!!

And then she came to crop with us. So a great day. I started out by making a shadow box (that the lovely Tricia brought for me!) with stuff from our zombie run back in 2014. It turned out even better than I had hoped!!

Then being on a zombie kick I decided to do a two page layout using more of my zombie pictures, along with the zombie bumper sticker I ended up with along the way at the run.

My dad had the best reaction when I posted these pictures on Facebook. He said "Only you would make yourself look like that on purpose!" I beg to differ, but it was pretty funny!!

I also made some ATC's for a friend for a swap, along with a card for another friend for a different swap. But I can't show those just yet!

But all good things must come to an end and the crop was no different. I cannot believe how productive I was. And then, to end the weekend, I got to see an AMAZING musical with my mom and nieces. As their Christmas gift I got us tickets to go see Mama Mia and we had front row seats. Needless to say we all loved it!!

I am not looking forward to the long drive back, but I have to say I really had a fun weekend. So till next time, stay crafty my peeps!!

Treasured Memories Emoji Crop - Day 2

So Day 2 was even more fun than day one! Started off with a fun Emoji breakfast! Very entertaining way to start the day!

And then the day really got going - I cannot believe how productive a day I had. As well as a bunch of layouts, I participated in both the challenges they put on. This is the first one - I made a box to show off the pictures they printed off of me and my gang! And what do you know - I won a prize for it!!

And then for the second challenge I did this tag. I had a lot of fun playing with my new Dylusions Shimmer sprays. I didn't think I would use them this weekend and I ended up using them on a couple different projects in the end.

I also did one of the make n'takes. And this one was perfect to use with the pictures of me in my unicorn onesie I brought. I WAS the unicorn emoji come to life!! LOL

And then like I said, I got a LOT of layouts done! I was just on a roll apparently. I am really happy with how they all came out. And to top it off, for all the Steampunk ones I was given the paper by several of my friends at the crop - BONUS!! 

I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the custom paper that you  can get at Treasured Memories!!!

And of course I had to use the emoji paper they gave us.

I had almost forgotten about these cards that I got at the Comic Expo - but they made for some fun layouts. And totally my steampunk style!!

As with all the crops at Treasured, they feed us really well. And the desserts are always yummy. This time they were also totally fun!!
