So even though I spent time in my craft room last night, I didn't actually craft. I spent the whole time putting away all my latest goodies! It was a VERY good happy mail day I have to say! LOL

I got goodies from several places in Edmonton, including my crafty pals Tricia and Paula

And I had to label all my new Dylusions paints - I splurged and decided to order all the colours in the flip top bottles as I think they will work better that way than in the pots. I am still waiting on about a dozen colours, but Treasured Memories has them on order for me. 

The goodie bag for this weekend's online crop arrived too - can't wait for the weekend! 

I also ordered from another store - Urban Scrapbook. Lots of great goodies from them! 

I am hoping to do some actual crafting tonight, but will depend on how the day goes. So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!

Wasn't sure I was gonna do any actual crafting last night - I went down to my craft room just to put away my new goodies and ended up doing a couple layouts. I got more organizational stuff in the mail yesterday - I have more room now for more thinlets dies and I can organize them better now! I picked up a couple odds and ends too to fill out the order. Thanks Scrap Addicts for helping me stay orgainized!!

The other happy mail I got was a small tag and card from an Instagram friend. I sent her one of the mermaid ATC's I made during the last Treasured Memories crop because she said she liked it. She wanted to return the favour so sent me these cute things.

Like I said though, I ended up doing some crafting since I was inspired when I was in my craft room. I got a couple more pages done for my nieces graduation album. I finally got to the first of the school pictures - I love how they came out!! The cute paper I had made it super easy!!

I am expecting more happy mail today so not sure if I will be crafting in my craft room or just putting away and organizing, but I will be spending time down there regardless. So till text time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!

I wasn't up for crafting last night as I didn't get a whole lot of sleep Sunday night so I was EXHAUSTED by the time I got home. But I did get some great happy mail so wanted to share.

First off, I got a swap in the mail. It is part of the Artful Academy Friends Facebook group I am in. They do monthly ATC swaps that I always join, but for May they switched it up and did a mini book swap. My partner got hers last week and I got mine yesterday. I love what my partner did for me, as well as all the great extras she sent. I got spoiled for sure!

I also got the new storage containers that I ordered for my COPIC markers. This is going to make it SO much easier to use them. And of course it motivated me to order more! Can't wait to colour now, especially when I get the new ones!

When I posted yesterday about my weekend I forgot to mention that I got spoiled by a friend of mine who crochets. I had seen a shawl I liked on another friends Facebook page and asked her if she could make me one. She did - and I LOVE IT!!! I have the BEST friends!!!

I am expecting more happy mail today, and since I got LOTS of sleep last night I will likely craft as well. So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!

Did a fair amount of crafting this weekend - but I actually spent more time hanging out with my grandkids than crafting! We babysat them - had a sleepover - so had lots of fun. I LOVE that they live down the street from me now. I will have even MORE cute photos of them to scrapbook. Like these:

I did spend time in my craft room though as I had an online class that I was signed up for. It was through Scrap Addicts and taught by the awesome Jo Firth-Young. Really enjoyed this class and got some super cute cards out of it as well. Learned some great new techniques too!

These are the first two cards we did - the acetate was cool to stamp on!

 

 The next cards were actually a set of 4 that you do all at the same time

by inking and stamping a whole page with the images you want to use.

These are the cards I ended up creating from this one sheet. 

I liked the idea of putting the sentiment on the inside of the card instead of the outside! 

This is the last "card" - I am stealing the itea of one of my crafty friends

and using this on a layout instead of making it a card. Just not sure what layout yet. 

I also got another page done for my nieces graduation album. I love doing these are they are so many great photos of the girls to choose from. They continue to inspire me!

Next up is her kindergarten graduation photos and I have great ideas for that so will likely do them tonight. So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!

The last few nights in my craft room have been more about finishing up my organizing and labelling all my stuff than actual crafting. But sometimes that is just as theraputic. Life seems to slowly be going back to normal so not sure I will be in my craft room every day now. I do have some classes and online crops coming up so will still have lots to blog about.

And last night I did do some actual crafting! I got another page done for my niece's grad album. This time I did a layout based on a sketchy challenge sketch from Creative Scrapbooker and their Facebook group. A friend of mine posted in the group a layout she did based on the same sketch and I thought it would be a great one for this picture. I like how it came out for sure.

Hopefully I can get her album done by June! Fingers crossed. I already know what  I want to do for the next page - I was just to tired last night to start it. And since it is suppposed to rain all weekend I should have lots of time to get creative! So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!!

(BELATED) HAPPY JUNE

I forgot to say Hapypy June to everyone yesterday! I hope you are all doing well and staying safe! I have been spending the last couple days getting more organized. Having my awesome husband finishing up the shelves for me sure helped. He got the second one finished and I got it all loaded up!

I also got everything labelled on both shelves. 

I absolutely LOVE how organized this makes me!!

More happy mail came for me yesterday too. I got my latest goodies from Scrap Addicts. I got the new Tim Holtz Distress colour - Speckled Egg - as well as all the supplies I need for the JOFY Card Class this weekend. Should be a great class for sure and I can't wait to play with the new Tim Holtz colours - I already have a project in mind!!

So I spent most of yesterday in my craft room - and I am so EXCITED that my husband got the first set of shelves he is building me finished!! I am so much more organized now.

It didn't take me long to get them filled up!!

All they need now is labels (which will go on tonight!)

I can actually see my floors again - and get to more of my stuff easily. Once he gets the second set built I will be all set!!

I did some actual crafting yesterday too. I finished two swaps that I signed up for that were going to the same person. A Butterfly card and some Birthday Shaker cards. I love how they came out.

I had intended to do another layout for my nieces grad gift, but the day got away from me so I plan to work on it tonight. So till next time, stay safe and stay crafty my peeps!
